ABOUT OUR FARM |
FARM MARKET |
Our spacious roadside market offers vegetables and fruits to include vine-ripened tomatoes, beans, squash, corn, cucumbers, peppers, turnip greens, broccoli, cabbage, butterbeans, peas, cantaloupe, and okra, most of which are grown on site at our farm. A wide variety of jams, jellies, relishes, and pickles are available, and the aroma of sweet bread temps the appetite of consumers daily. |
U-PIC OPERATION |
STRAWBERRIES |
Several years ago our farm expanded to include U-Pic fruits. One of the favorite U-Pic fruits is strawberries. Varieties grown are Sweet Charlie and Strawberry Festival. Berry fields are well maintained, clean, easily accessible and filled with rows and rows of ready to pick berries. There are always people there to assist with picking so you can locate the biggest, ripest berries in the field. Two gallon containers are provided for easy picking. Please provide your own containers to take your berries home. For those who do not desire U-Pic, on most days pre-picked berries are available. |
BLACKBERRIES |
Two varieties of big, beautiful blackberries are available for picking when rows of trellised berries for easy accessibility. Fields are clean and berries are plentiful and huge. Varieties grown are Kiowa and Chickasaw. |
RASPBERRIES |
For those desiring a unique delicacy, three varieties of raspberries are available: Dormanred, Reville, and Nova. All are excellent berries - sweet and delicious. Pint containers are furnished for picking of these delicate treats. |
BLUEBERRIES |
The newest addition to our U-Pic farm is blueberries. These tiny little fruits are easily picked even by the smallest hands. Fields are netted so that our feathered friends will not consume more berries that Customers. Containers are provided for easy picking. Varieties available: Tiftblue, Premier, Brightwell. |
